About Me
Hola, my name is Francisco Canto, but everyone calls me Fran. I'm a passionate native Spanish tutor with a love for teaching.
I've been working in education for over 20 years, with the past 10 based in Sevenoaks. For six of those years, I taught Spanish at Kent Adult Education in the Sevenoaks centre. Unfortunately, the centre has recently closed, so I'm now focusing on expanding my private, face-to-face lessons and looking to form new local student groups.
I have experience teaching children, teenagers (including GCSE and A-Level preparation), adults, and professionals learning Spanish for business. I cover all levels—from complete beginners to advanced speakers.

My teaching style is interactive and based on a communicative approach. While all four language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—are developed, the main emphasis is on speaking.
I incorporate fun, practical activities like games and songs to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
